Creating a New Website
You can create a new website from your hosting panel or have it prepared as part of your SiteForge project setup, depending on your service level.
Steps
- Log in to your Hosting Panel.
- Open Websites and select Add new.
- Choose whether to start from scratch, install an application, or clone an existing website. The options available depend on your plan.
- Enter the primary domain and complete the settings shown for the selected website type.
- Select Add to provision the website.
Once the website is created, you can:
- install WordPress,
- upload files,
- connect by FTP or SSH,
- attach email services and SSL,
- create a staging website when the feature is included in your plan.
What you may receive during setup
If SiteForge is building or onboarding the website for you, the setup process may also include:
- initial domain and SSL preparation,
- mailbox setup for your domain,
- a separate cloud workspace login sent by email,
- a dedicated password for sharing high-quality source files and content.
For content delivery, use the cloud workspace instead of chat apps whenever possible so images and documents remain in full quality.
